Being a Black Owned brand we wanted to be show our activism by using art form to represent our people and the stand against inequality. The original design has "Portland" under the "BLM" as that is the city we are based in. However we wanted to offer a universal version for those that admire the design but may not have any connection to Portland. Therefore this option is replaced with a "Black Lives Matter" under the design for people in any city to represent.
Featuring a big and bold "BLM" across the chest intertwined with the raised fist in the form of a rose which symbolizes unity of the oppressed peoples along with power, passion, and our desire for change, justice, and equality.
